One new effort in the lab examines how we can help software engineers to be more productive. Our research in this space focuses on empowering the productivity of individuals and teams by analyzing, modelling, and developing novel approaches that foster productive behaviours at work. More details can be found in this research overview.

This work has also spawned a research cluster within UBC including faculty from Psychology, Public Health, Psychiatry, and the Sauder School of Business to look at topics surrounding productivity more broadly. A more complete description of the cluster is in this proposal.
